One day two friends were passing through a dessert. During their journey, they had an argument. One of them got so angry that he slapped the other one in the face. The one who was slapped said nothing, but he wrote on the sand, “TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.”
Soon they found an oasis so they decided to take a swim. While swimming, the friend who got slapped on the face started drowning and was saved by the other one. Now he, the friend who got saved, carved something on the stone. He wrote,”TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.”
His friend questioned him,”Why did you write on the sand when I slapped you but carve on a stone when I saved your life?” He replied,”My friend, when someone hits us, we should write it down on sand where winds of forgiveness would erase it. But when someone does any good to us, we should carve it on stone where no wind can harm it.”
MORAL: LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS ON SAND AND CARVE YOUR BENEFITS ON STONE.
